U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-D


The increase of territory controlled by the Federation continued to cause increased logistical problems in the early part of the 24th century. While civilian vessels had primarily been tasked with the moving of daily goods, expansion was straining these traditional methods of supply.

To meet the demand, the aging Polaris Class Frigate was refitted to serve primamrily as a supply courier for distant Federation outposts. As of 2315, only twenty-five of the vessels remained in service with another twenty decomissioned. Those in mothballs were refitted as part of a project that ran from 2315 thru 2322.

The U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-D was launched on July 27, 2320. She was placed under the command of Commander Yuri Stovana and Lieutenant Commander Jero J'kla. She was put under the command of Commander Benjamin Louov in 2327, with the ship's executive officer changing to Lieutenant Commander Ryan Lloyd in 2330.

By 2340, the ship was under the command of Commander Olga Peterson and Lieutenant Commander Adam Longlee. The loss of the U.S.S. Enterprise in 2346 prompted a reassignment of the Reaent to assist with recovery. The ship was decommissioned on July 18, 2358 while under the command of Lieutenant Commander Adam Longlee. The mothballed remains of the Reaent would be utilized during Dominon War efforts.
