U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-C


The fourth vessel to bear the name Reaent would be developed in 2307. Launched on March 7, 2308 the U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-C was the third vessel completed at the Antares V Shipyards. This Miranda Class Destroyer Refit was assigned portal duty along the Klingon and Romulan Neutral Zones. Under the command of Captain Ryan Jones and Commander Er'o Persa, the vessels mission was expected for a ship of this design at this point in history.

When tensions between the United Federation of Planets and Romulan Star Empire flared into actual combat in 2311, the Reaent was involved in several incidents. She was part of the task force involved in what would become known later as the Tomed Incident. During the encounter, the Reaent would suffer catostrophic damage and be considered a total loss. Decommissioned on November 28, 2311 she survived the mission losing only ten people although sixty percent of her hull had been exposed to space.
