Runabout "Cerberus" from the U.S.S. Manticore, NCC-5852-A

Ship information
Propulsion
The Cerberus uses a dual impulse reactor drive with a maximum speed of 0.85c. If one reactor is damaged a speed of
0.10c is capable with weapons up or 0.30c is possible with weapons down.
Weapons
The Cerberus is equipped with 4 class XIV phaser banks with a maximum power of 8.45 MW.
Shields
The Cerberus is equipped with an upgraded type 6 deflector grid, which can absorb greater damage than types one
through five. It can also be programmed to reflect the phaser fire back from an enemy ship. These deflectors utilize
metaphasic shielding techniques, so the ship can hide in the sun's photosphere for up to 64 hours. These shields
also modulate frequencies after every attack, making it very difficult to penetrate with scanners.
Computer
The Cerberus uses a type J-4343-Posi-Quad-scan system, with positronic neurogel relay system. The system works at
billions of GigaquadHz per nanosecond. The system uses reduancy circuits in order to re-calculate responses
8 billion times per second in order to give adequate responses. Its self-diagnostic mode seeks out problems and
reports them to the Cerberus's main piloting helm.
Hull
The Hull of the Cerberus is plated with Diamond-Titanium Fusion, first used on the U.S.S. Phantom. This allows the
ship to take up to a full-on quantum torpedo hit before acquiring a hull breach.
Scanners
The Cerberus is equipped with 3 sets of scanners. The first, long-range scanners are equipped with enhanced
redundancy circuits, making false images projected by other ships useless. The second are short-range scanners.
These scanners can penetrate all known shielding. The third are cloak scanners. These scanners use ionized
particles to help detect any cloaked ships at close range.
Science Module
The science section of the Cerberus contains a complete array of both interior and exterior scanning devices. The maximum
scan input is equal to that of a starship, making the shuttle an integral part of science research. The shuttle is a fully-capable craft
in all scientific researches, including isolation force fields with capability for separate environmental controls.
Science teams use the Cerberus for studies in secluded environments or for remote studies off-site from the USS Manticore.
The Cerberus has already allowed for an abroad study of a dual star system in the vicinity of Manticore, offering new advancements in
ultra-violet harnessing for power consumption. Since the Cerberus maintains a constant encrypted communication channel with the
Manticore's computers, all data and information collected from the Cerberus's missions may be quickly returned to Manticore for analysis.
With the Cerberus allowing for specific search perimeters, the data collected can also be analyzed by computer aboard the vessel, and
only forward mission-critical information back to Manticore.
The Cerberus is a powerful asset to both the Manticore and the entire scientific community, as it has already proven itself in both basic
tests and research missions.
Engineering Module
The Engineering section contains a full set of diagnostic equipment for testing prototype equipment and hypothetical situations, as if
it was located on a full sized starship. This provides the opportunity to preform experiments with technology that might normally be inaccessible
due to the potential danger to a full starship.
