mimipavilion: ::in her medical office::
Jylliene: ::CnC, Ops, settling in for the day, enjoying the morning coffee::
Chirakis: ::already in her office, reading the information from Ambassador Sejak::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Making his way to sickbay, disturbed by his visions and waking up on the floor ::
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::just arrived onto the CnC. Fruit juice in one hand and pad and journal on the other::
Fletcher Jackson: :;slips in late, takes his seat without a donut!::
Dacia Sandero: ::in sickbay, drinking a cup of coffee::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Enters medical, hearing the door close behind him ::
Johnson Kenyon: ::rushing off to Main Engineering.... a tad late::
Alexis McFarland: ::is sleeping in her bed::
mimipavilion: ::hears the doors open and close and enters main medical to see Nijil:: Hi what brings you here.
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::humming a little song as she takes steps to the science terminals::
Tarisa: Miana> :;Had slept over. Curled up next to Alexis.::
Tarisa: ::Steps onto CnC after a nice rest.::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Various engineers are fussing over the stations systems, others are looking at the work board ::
Alexis McFarland: ::next to Miana, curled up with her good arm around Miana::
Dacia Sandero: ::checking on patients who spent the night over in Sickbay::
Nijil tr'Korjata: Doctor, I have to let au know of an experience I had yesterday.
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: sits ::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Walking around the CnC, getting his bearings ::
mimipavilion: ::concerned and follows Nijil:: Ok what happened.
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::sips her juice then sets it securely to the side::
Scott Coleridge: ::stifles a yawn as he steps out of the TL onto the CnC::
Nijil tr'Korjata: I was walking around the station, seeing if some needed help. I passed a dark corridor, but there was a light at the very edge.
Chirakis: ::scanning the areas plotted onscreen - the nebulae, asteroids, and planetoids, then zooms in on the same one she did last time:::
mimipavilion: ::listens:: Go on.
Chirakis: ::checks her list:::
Tarisa: ::Steps over to science, nods to Dran.:: Good morning.
Tae'Lynn Dran: Good morning Commander.
Nijil tr'Korjata: Looked out of place, so I went to check it out. Just as I rounded the corner someone said my name, first name. "Greetings Nijil." She was someone I did not recognize, even at the species level.
Nijil tr'Korjata: She smiled, then I started to lose consciousness. I saw her reach out as if to help me, but then I blacked out before hitting the floor.
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::opens her journal and begins transferring notes from it to the database on screen::
Johnson Kenyon: ::sneaking into Main Engineering and heading to a console::
Nijil tr'Korjata: I woke about an hour later...face to the floor.
mimipavilion: ::concerned:: Do you know which corridor it was?
Chirakis: ::then listens to the recording, forwarded from SI-6:::
Dacia Sandero: ::listens in as well::
Tarisa: :;Sipping on a hot tea, she sets it down, before getting into a small doggy bag, pulling out a pastry.::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Thinking of methods to be more aware of what's happening on the station. The facility was so large as to be a city, and one could lose themselves in it just the same ::
Scott Coleridge: ::grabs tea and a breakfast sandwich from the replicator and moves to his station::
Johnson Kenyon: ::noticing a small package for him::
Dacia Sandero: Hm.
Scott Coleridge: ::Jylliene:: Any updates from engineering about the malfunctions in the science lab?
Jylliene: ::pondering as she pages through the usual overnight reports::
Nijil tr'Korjata: Ie, just below the commerce level, close to some residential areas.
Johnson Kenyon: ::opens the package to find the part he designed a few days ago... fresh from the Industrial Replicator::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Gets a map out and points the location to Mimi ::
Jylliene: Hm? Oh.. Not that I see so far in the overnight reports. Shall I message engineering for a specific update?
Nijil tr'Korjata: I would have reported this earlier, but we were running tests on the sensor data delivery system.
Chirakis: ::steps away and begins to wander, thinking:::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: to himself :: More cameras? Floating drones?
Tarisa: Miana> ::Purrs as she dreams about pastries.::
Annisha: :: Up, but not happy about it ::
mimipavilion: Ok. ::makes a note of it:: Alright. I'll report it for you. Is there anything else.
Chirakis: :::checking Cayne's present security clearance:::
Scott Coleridge: No, thank you. I'm sure they'll update us if they have any news. Until then I'll forbear. ::glances at the reports waiting in his inbox:: It isn't as if I'm lacking things to do...
Jylliene: ::grins to Scott::
Jylliene: Very well, sir.
Alexis McFarland: ::dreaming about kitties... fluffy::
Chirakis: Um.... +com+ Commander Kital, have Commanders Coleridge and Cayne report to my office.
Nijil tr'Korjata: Was I seeing things?
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::looking at the calculations provided by the shipyard. Considering the best way to create a low level version of the given energy pattern::
Chirakis: ::leaning against her desk, staring at the screen:::
Jylliene: ::glances at Coleridge:: +Chirakis+ Right away, ma'am
Alexis McFarland: ::Snuggles Miana::
Fletcher Jackson: :::workworkwork::
Johnson Kenyon: ::checks the schedule for the holo training suite on deck 13, fortunately it appears to be open.... reserves it::
Dacia Sandero: ::working on things in sickbay, chatting with the night nurse::
Jylliene: +Cayne+ CnC to Commander Cayne. Report to Captain Chirakis's office right away, please.
Jylliene: ::to Coleridge:: Sounds like you're needed in the captain's office, sir.
Scott Coleridge: ::logs off from his console:: Indeed.
Tae'Lynn Dran: Well, we could try this.:::moves the calculations around::
Scott Coleridge: ::Jylliene:: Hold the fort, Commander.
Johnson Kenyon: ::grabs the part and starts to head out... when Lt Little notices him::
Jylliene: Of course, sir.
Tae'Lynn Dran: Let's see. :::overlays the sensors logs from the nebula::
Scott Coleridge: ::rings the doorbell on Chirakis' office::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Gets the note, heads to her office ::
Chirakis: Enter.
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Arrives at the door ::
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::to Kenyon:: There you are. Did you decide to take that R&R I suggested, we missed you yesterday
Chirakis: ::turns as the door opens:::
Scott Coleridge: ::enters along with Cayne::
mimipavilion: Ummm... I'm not sure. ::sees Dacia:: I'm sure Dr. Sandero won't mind to check you out to make sure, while I get the report written up.
Johnson Kenyon: ::to Little, breathes deeply:: You haven't by any chance seen Commander Korjata?
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Enters ::
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> Not yet this morning, why?
Dacia Sandero: Oh yes, Of course. Have a seat, I'll try not to keep you too long.
Johnson Kenyon: ::to Little:: I do need to talk to him. I've....
Tae'Lynn Dran: Oh, I see ::adjusts the base values and scales down the amplification::
Nijil tr'Korjata: I can't be too late for my shift, but I can't be under mental duress at the same time.
Chirakis: ::she secures the door behind them and points to the images onscreen - a planetoid on which is a base with familiar ships docked:::
Chirakis: Do you recall these, gentlemen?
Dacia Sandero: ::takes out her tricorder and scans him over:: Yes..
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::looking down inquisitively at Kenyon:: I've?
Scott Coleridge: ::small frown:: I'm afraid so.
Chirakis: ::deep inhale:: An-Ward
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: It has been a while since I read the report Captain.
Chirakis: Indeed it has, and they have been very busy.
Johnson Kenyon: ::to Little:: Let's just say I have a very important matter to discuss with him. ::showing the part:: In the meanwhile, I thought I would test out my design in a holosuite.... sort of test it out before we decide to use it on those fancy new sensors
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::lets the computer churn the current calculations through several hundred simulated runs::
Chirakis: Most of these bases are manned by small groups familiar to me, but more interested in grab and go than conquering any area of space..
Chirakis: This one, however....
Dacia Sandero: ::finishes:: Well, I don't detect anything long term. I could give you a hypo to feel better.
Tarisa: ::Finishes her food, cleans up and goes over to the console.:: Did you find what you were looking for?
mimipavilion: ::goes to her office and writes up her report::
Chirakis: :::begins to play a recording::: The recording is from Lt Grun, SI-6 ::turns to Cayne:: I'm sure you recall him...

"The siege is proceeding well. We have removed the last orbital threats and eliminated all known launch sites. They will come to terms before any orbital bombardments are necessary.  The Tsuramera and a few escorts can maintain the blockade."

"Negotiations with the Kuromites are concluded. The 8 ships left in their fleet will now join us at Maravon."

"What of the Metal Hearts?"

 "We have spotted operatives of theirs on AnWard and we believe some have moved past the old border in search of the Children of Stone."

"And our own search?"

"No change since our last report."

"With our forces free of the siege and our new allies we can begin the coreward expansion."

"With care. Those beyond the border are still unknown to us. If they kept the Breen at bay, then we will find no small task in bringing them into our alliance."

A voice, broad and with authority, raised itself above the others. "The fleet will ready itself at Maravon. Send the fastest ship of the Kuromites to follow the Metal Heart operatives. We will await their results before proceeding."

The echoes became a unified chorus, "As you command."*

Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> I'll tell the Commander you are looking for him
Tae'Lynn Dran: I believe so.
Dacia Sandero: If not, then you're free to go. I'm sure Mimi is writing up a report now.
Chirakis: ::listens to it for at least the tenth time:::
Nijil tr'Korjata: It's not a matter of feeling Doctor Sandero, but understanding what happened to me.
Johnson Kenyon: ::pauses then stops himself from talking then nods his head::
Chirakis: Their base... is exactly as you expected, Commander Coleridge.
Johnson Kenyon: ::grabs his part and heads out::
Dacia Sandero: Ah, I see what you mean. Yes.
Scott Coleridge: I see. In which case, Dran's research takes on new significance.
Tarisa: ::Looking at the console.::
Dacia Sandero: I'm not particularly sure myself.
Chirakis: Indeed it does.
Tae'Lynn Dran: The shipyard provided valuable insight. I believe we can produce a low scale equivalent to the damping wave.
Nijil tr'Korjata: Well, perhaps I should just see what else happens.
Chirakis: ::looks to Cayne::: Your thoughts?
Dacia Sandero: ::nods:: That'd be what I'd do if I were you.
Dacia Sandero: Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: Are we running a recon mission?
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: Seems like we need a touch more information
Chirakis: Not at the moment.
Tae'Lynn Dran: I half expect the Breen came up with their weapon by studying that nebula. It is or was well in their territory at one time.
Chirakis: Indeed. More information, and permission from Command.
Dacia Sandero: Physically though, you seem fine.
Johnson Kenyon: ::arriving on Deck 13, enters the Holotraining program::
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::turns to see the simulation results as the computer beeps::
Nijil tr'Korjata: And do au...sense anything in my mind?
mimipavilion: ::finishes the report and sends the report to Chirakis, Scott, and Cayne::
Johnson Kenyon: ::pulls up the Arch and begins programming the sensor relay scenario::
Tarisa: ::Nods. Also curious about the result.::
Nijil tr'Korjata: If only your ability was in a portable form I could wear around,, other than having au follow me around.
Scott Coleridge: Permission for ...?
Chirakis: Whatever we decide to do.
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Grabs his padd in preparation to head to work ::
Chirakis: At the moment, I believe Lt Dran is examining her results.
Dacia Sandero: I can sense the uncertainly, for sure among other things. Yes, that would be nice at a time like this yeah.
Tae'Lynn Dran: Well. That was maybe um too effective. ::looking the data over:: Results show 300% higher saturation than expected. That would have blacked out the station for a week. Let's try lowing the power. ::lets the computer crunch the new numbers::
Chirakis: +Dran+ Lieutenant, do you have your results?
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Gets up :: I thank au for your help.
Tae'Lynn Dran: +CAPT+ Preliminary, yes.
Dacia Sandero: Not a problem.
Chirakis: +Dran+ Enough for comprehensive assessment?
Tae'Lynn Dran: +CAPT+ Theoretical assessment. I will need to run several experiments before saying more.
Johnson Kenyon: ::watching the sensor relays appear in the holosuite, pulling out part and inserting it into the relays::
Chirakis: +Dran+ Bring what you have to my office.
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Waves as he leaves sickbay ::
Tae'Lynn Dran: +CAPT+ Yes sir.
Chirakis: ::releases the door lock:::
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::gathers her things::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: exits her office ::
Jylliene: ::hears the door, glances up and nods to Cayne as he leaves the office.
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::goes to the Captain's office::
Chirakis: ::the door is open:::
Chirakis: ::blanks the screen:::
Johnson Kenyon: ::running a number of stress tests on the part::
Tae'Lynn Dran: Sirs. ::nods::
Tarisa: ::Steps over to the unused console as Dran goes to the office.::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Walks to Commander Kital ::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: Commander.
Chirakis: Come in, Lieutenant. ::the door closes behind her:::
Chirakis: Tell us what you have so far.
Jylliene: Commander.
Jylliene: May I help you?
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: I hope SubCommander Korjata has recovered from the last mission.
Fletcher Jackson: ::deep breath, takes a break for coffee:::
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: He just looked a bit stressed, and I should know stress.
Johnson Kenyon: ::watches as the part fails::
Scott Coleridge: ::sitting in one of the chairs, interested look on his face::
Johnson Kenyon: ::removes the part from the simulation and starts again... this time with a normal relay::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Moments later Korjata enters main engineering ::
Chirakis: ::leaning against her desk:::
Jylliene: Stress seems to be his usual.
Fletcher Jackson: ::returns, coffee in hand, minus the donuts::
Tae'Lynn Dran: With the information given by the shipyard along with sensor records of the nebula I've come up with a way to simulate the damping pulse.
Jylliene: But he seems his usual.
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: says aloud and somewhat humorously :: What in the elements is going on today? :: walks to the board ::
Chirakis: ::listening:::
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::to Nijil:: Nice to see you, Chief
mimipavilion: ::goes back into main medical to talk to Dacia::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: to Little :: It is nice to see me too, when I get the chance.
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Nods :: Just watch him.
Tae'Lynn Dran: It was actually rather easy. Directing it would be the biggest problem.
Johnson Kenyon: ::observing the test::
Jylliene: Always. One eye on him, one on Annisha.
Nijil tr'Korjata: Sorry I am late everyone and from the tears I see I was missed.
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::towering over Nijil, smiles broadly:: You could use a mirror
Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: laughs :: Implants can give you more eyes. :: walks to his post ::
mimipavilion: ::finds her:: So how was our patient.
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> At least you are in a good mood... Lt Kenyon was looking for you
Nijil tr'Korjata: Do I look that bad? I see one woman in my head and people talk.
Chirakis: Directing... what?
Tae'Lynn Dran: SubCommander Jorahl was clear he was leaving out the main features of weaponizing the pulse.
Jylliene: ::chuckles:: I'll pass for now.
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::chuckles:: You've been to see the shrink about that?
Scott Coleridge: Lieutenant, have your tests given you a better understanding of the nature of the pulses from the star?
Chirakis: Weaponizing. :::ponders that::
Tae'Lynn Dran: Luckily for my testing purposes I just need to direct it enough I don't knock station systems offline.
Nijil tr'Korjata: ::: nods :: Lieutenant Kenyon :: he said over the relative noise :: Is this try and au are looking for yours truly?
Tae'Lynn Dran: Some.
Tae'Lynn Dran: I have been focusing more on the effects rather than the causes.
Johnson Kenyon: ::is in the holodeck on deck 13::
Nijil tr'Korjata: :: to Little :: As a matter of fact that is why I was late.
Chirakis: Lieutenant...
Chirakis: Are you sure that the pulses are from the star?
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::eyes wide:: Oh... you weren't joking...
Chirakis: Could they have been artificial? From an area close to the star?
Nijil tr'Korjata: She was no one I had seen before. She seemed kind enough.
Johnson Kenyon: ::modifying the relay to see if he can make it stronger... starts the test again::
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::looks at the Commander then back to the Captain:: I... That wasn't really a possibility I considered.
Chirakis: Can you consider it now?
mimipavilion: ::looks at Dacia:: Dr.?
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::starts slinking away to avoid the conversation, pretends he has something urgent to do::
Tae'Lynn Dran: Well. ::glancing side to side for a moment::
Fletcher Jackson: ::::traffic is like rush hour in New York:::
Chirakis: Let me put it another way...
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::turns back to Nijil:: Lt Kenyon said there was a problem with one of the power relays used for that new Sensor grid... It's drawing an excessive amount of power... he's designing something on the Holodeck
Chirakis: Is it possible at all that they could be from an area close to the star?
Chirakis: In your best estimation.
Nijil tr'Korjata: Ah, something to regulate it.
mimipavilion: ::standing next to Dacia and coughs::
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> He had a part replicated, but wanted to test it out before bringing it to you.
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::considers:: No, under my current theory the pulses are natural. :::thinking for a moment:: However. We did see an increase in the frequency of the pulses that can't be explained yet.
Dacia Sandero: Yes?
Scott Coleridge: So someone could be manipulating the star to trigger more pulses.
mimipavilion: How's our patient?
Tae'Lynn Dran: It is possible our ships triggered the increased rate. But if our ships could then any other artificial stimulus could as well.
Tae'Lynn Dran: But to what end?
Scott Coleridge: The Nei'rrh was able to shield itself somewhat from the pulses. If you combine that with what you've learned from studying the Breen weapon, do you think you could devise a better way to neutralize the pulses?
Dacia Sandero: Physically, he's fine but he's still apprehensive as to what he'd experienced. It was odd what happened to him.
mimipavilion: I know. I did send the report.
Dacia Sandero: But other than that, he seemed to be fine and I cleared him for duty.
Nijil tr'Korjata: We should put it through a field test
Tae'Lynn Dran: Possibly.
Dacia Sandero: Yes, very strange. Almost seemed like a daydream or something.
mimipavilion: ::nods::
Scott Coleridge: ::glances at Chirakis::
Chirakis: Thank you, Lieutenant. Continue to investigate your findings.
Tae'Lynn Dran: Yes sir.
Chirakis: ::pushing off from her desk::: Dismissed.
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> He should be available on the Comm. ::someone approaching him:: I'm overdue at the power generation meeting... You're the boss if you want to come
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::turns and exits the office::
Jylliene: ::nods to Dran as she exits::
Nijil tr'Korjata: I'll go. Lead the way.
Tarisa: ::Sees Dran leaving the office.:: How did it go?
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::steps over to Tarisa:: That wasn't exactly what I was expecting.
Chirakis: ::when the door closes, she looks to Scott:::
Johnson Kenyon: Lt Little> ::walking to the conference room::
Scott Coleridge: The picture is getting clearer, but it isn't what we wanted to see, is it?
Chirakis: No, it was not. But it could be what we suspected.
Tae'Lynn Dran: I think there's more going on than I want to know about.

Chirakis: =/\==/\=PAUSE SIM=/\==/\=
Chirakis: =/\==/\=PAUSE SIM=/\==/\=
Chirakis: 4/19/19
Chirakis: Thank you.
Chirakis: Well done, as usual.
Chirakis: Lt, how long would you need to complete your findings?
Chirakis: 24 hours?
Tae'Lynn Dran: ::smiles:: If we're talking a full grant research project 4 to 6 years. But yes, 24 hours should do for our purposes.
Chirakis: very well... TBS is 24 hours.
Chirakis: Thoughts, Commander Coleridge?
Scott Coleridge: I've done a TBS of several years before...
Scott Coleridge: It's interesting how one's priorities and attention shifts when one goes from being the engineer or scientist to a command officer.
Scott Coleridge: That's all
Dacia Sandero: Yes. as did I. Did a 150 year TBS once
Tarisa: hehe I remember that
Chirakis: Other words from the crew?
Chirakis: Crew dismissed. Be well. Be Safe. Don’t forget your towel.
