RES Talon Mission Briefing 51304.18 - Season 18 The Talon and the escort vessels continue to analyze the materials they have salvaged from the destroyed ship that had attacked them. Laehval, being the engineer that she is, has thought that if they could identify the materials that this unknown style of ship was made from, or if even the origins of this material could be determined, they might have a better idea (not that they didn't already have one), but more proof, of just who their real enemy is. The ship continues towards on a course towards home, trying to get out of Othan space in one piece, however doing so puts them into contested Kll'inhannsu and Naussican space as well. The escort vessels, hailing from Dumok'azen, are suggesting making course towards that world instead for a nearer port of safety, even though it too, will take them through the same dangerously contested space as heading homeward. Elsewhere, a certain crew member has started to question her surroundings.

Once we have recorded the compositions, we will let the etrehh try to analyze the various molecular weights and try to match the regions from which the metals and materials have been collected

KhreRiovtRex -> Aeng> Once we have determined where it may have been collected, we will also try to correlate against various methods of manufacture and see if we can determine where these ships were built as well, but that will be most difficult to be sure

Lerak trPexil -> Many of the fragments are damaged, so I'm taking tiny pictures at various locations to isolate manufacture markers.

tr'Shalor> We have asked that engineering analyze the materials first. Once they have finished scanning all the debris then the etreeh will extrapolate the data, and try to determine where it may have been collected.

Lerak trPexil -> I think we can eliminate some dates and locations, but there are many still to search.

tAehjae -> I have completed scanning several pieces and just finished loading them. I will continue.

tr'Shalor> The engineers have na noted that the cloak is causing any drain, just that the amount of scanning they are doing is taxing the system. They will have to give the cloak a break fairly soon if they continue at this rate
