RES Talon Simlog

KhreRiovtRex -> Mission Briefing: 4 hours have passed since the systems testing had begun on various systems. The ship remains on course for Dumok'ezen and it's important mission to settle the unrest.

KhreRiovtRex -> BEGIN SIM

KhreRiovtRex -> BEGIN SIM

KhreRiovtRex -> BEGIN SIM

Koga S'Bien -> ::back to piloting the Talon to Dumok'azen, after that whole cufuffle with the power supply::

tAehjae -> :: continues making the changes NDak wanted in the schedule while keeping her teams at High alert::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::has been going through the list of follow-up treatments that Aife passed to him; feeling better now that he has some work to do::

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::In command while N'Dak did whatever N'Dak did alone in his borrowed chambers. Leans back and reviews the chair's panel, still reviewing reports on the systems testing::

M_K_tKsa -> ::returning to medical after her haunting of the oira, and a slight break,::

Lerak trPexil -> :: back to some piece and quite in the Daise'Engineer's office, telling his staff to specifically leave him be ::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::looks up from an ISD as tKsa walks into the med bay:: ::nods to her:: Rekkhai.

tAehjae -> :: finally completes the Schedule changes, and leans back in her chair to rest a moment::

M_K_tKsa -> Jolan tru. How are au? ::gives him a little once over to see if she can tell physically::

KhreRiovtRex -> #::comtemplating the recording that they had recieved from tr'Valdrin, somewhat surprised that NDak would let it be recorded, unless.....teh brilliant engineer used the security systems.....

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::She plopped down in a chair in Pexil's office, kicking her feet up on the desk.:: So... you fixed the problem.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> I am...:: ponders the word 'well' and rejects it in favor of...:: better. Hann'yyo. And auself?

Koga S'Bien -> ::checking over the power supplies and shipboard systems::

Lerak trPexil -> :: looks to one side :: "Come right in.. how did au do that?" :: shakes head :: "Nevermind... and ie, but barely."

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> What did au find?

M_K_tKsa -> :;makes a sort of noncommittal grunt noise, shrugging her shoulders:: There's a list of crewmen that needed follow up care. Did Aife give it to au?

Lerak trPexil -> "I believe it was no accident or failacy by our crew or the dry docks."

Kelton tr'Radaik -> Ie. I have been going through it. ::gestures with the datapad in his hand::

KhreRiovtRex -> # Na, she would na watch the recording. She knew she would

Lerak trPexil -> "Some of the code required clearance I did na have."

KhreRiovtRex -> feel each stroke herself, even though all of her scars had been healed up by the nanogenes

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> So... it was a test. ::She smirked.:: I'd say you passed.

Koga S'Bien -> ;;Smiles::

KhreRiovtRex -> and that there was na reason for the rest to see it either, unless crew obedience waned and it was waranted as a reminder..

Lerak trPexil -> "Pass with something of a minus." :: looks down :: "How are aur card games coming along?"

M_K_tKsa -> Very menkha ::nods:: If au need assistance, let me know, ie?

Lerak trPexil -> "Don't worry about aur card games.. I've made sure they actually have a purpose in maintaining the ship."

Kelton tr'Radaik -> Ie. ::nods, then adds:: Do au know what the issue was with the lights?

NDak -> ::Enters the Oira, having freshed himself and grabbed a cup of warm ka'all::

t'Meris> ::enters the medical bay and looks around for t'Ksa::

Lerak trPexil -> "Are all of the candles blown out from the power loss?"

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::rises at N'Dak's entrance, vacating the command seat without a word and taking the next for himself::

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Meris< Sees she is busy, and waits quietly off to the side

Lerak trPexil -> "So t'Ditsy how is the rest of the staff.. Au are in the trenches..."

Koga S'Bien -> ::wants a warm cup of ka'all::

M_K_tKsa -> A drill ::frowning:: Nothing more.

NDak -> ::Valdrin, coldly:: Please join me in the chambers. S'Bien, au have the Oira. Keep us on course.

Koga S'Bien -> Ie, rekkhai

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::transfers the reports he'd been reading to his ISD and tucked it into his belt, nodding curtly before following him back into the Enarrain's chambers::

Koga S'Bien -> ::occupies the vacant centre seat::

Koga S'Bien -> Keep us on course, then tr'Lackey.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::nod; raises eyebrows slightly at the frown on her face:: Ah, ie.

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Meris> ::wonders if she should just give the ISD to Aifee, or set it in the Daise's office for her to find, as she appears to be very busy

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::She shrugged.:: Some are grumbling and staging a mutiny against au.

Lerak trPexil -> :: a pile of ISDs off all sizes line the edges of his desk ::

NDak -> ::Enters his chambers and puts the mug down on the desk. He turned and put his weight against the table, leaning back just enough to be comfortable without looking like he was actually using it to hold himself up::

Lerak trPexil -> "Really? Nice to know good work does na go unpunished."

Koga S'Bien -> ::sstill thinking about ka'all. Wonders when his next break was, and wonders there was any left , or if he would have to make a new batch::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> Well...::moving on briskly:: I will have reports on au desk regarding the finished appointments, within the hour, rekkhai.

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::pauses once the door closes, but doesn't sit down. his gaze was steady and unyielding::

M_K_tKsa -> ::nods:: Hann'yyo. :;spying t'Meris, raises a brow:: Is au shift na for another few hours?

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::turns to see who she is talking to and sees t'Meris next to the door::

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::She smirked.:: Just joking. It is fine. Things seem normal, though no one is ducking and running from the wrath of the Daise.

NDak -> ::Stands up straight, his expression hardening into granite:: I will not mence words with au, tr'Valdrin. I am neither in a mood nor a position to play games with au.

Lerak trPexil -> "I have na wrath... I did push three people out of a lift though."

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Meris> Na Rekkhai, I am off shift until tomorrow. However, I have come upon an item, which I felt best that I turn over to au

KhreRiovtRex -> I found it, while tending to some of my plants

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::arches a brow, but says nothing as he has not yet been given permission::

Lerak trPexil -> :: he looked up and smiled :: "It is good to have a familiar face here. I was na as isolated as Laehval, but still over the years I've not garnered a large following here."

NDak -> If au think I am unaware or ignorant to au purpose on this vessel, then I have severly overestimated you.

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> That is the point. Au are na Laehval. They were afraid of her. They are na afraid of au. People are slacking as they see how much they can get away with.

M_K_tKsa -> ::motions to her office:: In here then, t'Meris. ::wondering what could have been so interesting to have brought her here::

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Meris> ::pulls oven her tool bag and retrieves an ISD, with just a bit of potting soil still stuck in it's keypad::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::steps back slightly out of the conversation to let t'Meris talk to tKsa, looking back down at his ISD::

Lerak trPexil -> "Ice woman versus push over..."

NDak -> ::Glances towards him, judging the response.::

t'Meris> I was hrrau the large observation lounge, tending to the two large ferns by the doorway. I was unable to tend to them the previous week, as there had been some sort of large staff meeting being held there. When I went to trim two broken fronds, I found this, in the pot, obscured by the foliage.

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> We both know that au are smarter than that. ::inclines head slightly::

Lerak trPexil -> "I'm looking over how we handled the 'test

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> How do au think we did?

Lerak trPexil -> "Errors were made.. things done well."

M_K_tKsa -> ::tilts her head, looking at it:: Someone misplaced this?

NDak -> Mehnka. Now that we have that cleared up, let me make something else perfectly clear.

Lerak trPexil -> "Everyone stepped up as they needed. I listened in on the enginerring channels while at that junction."

Lerak trPexil -> "Backups did na come online as I had hoped, so we are concentrating our efforts there now."

KhreRiovtRex -> tr'Bartol> ::looking for t'Aehjae to inquire if they should remodulate the crew's t'Liss's by department, or by rank::

Lerak trPexil -> "I have about five repremands to give out though.. one to a couple.. busy..."

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::goes back to work, leaning on one of the consoles and tapping up a set of reports::

t'Meris> it bears the Khre'Riov's symbol on it, so I assumed it to be hers. Though I do not know if she accidently dropped it there exiting the room, or if she placed it there on purpose. It was na my place to activate it to see what was upon it.

NDak -> I know that au will try to stab me in the back, in fact I will be almost disappointed if au don't. However, let's get two things perfectly clear. First, do not forget that whatever deal you've arranged with tr'Vatrix, I am the commanding officer of this vessel and au aur my disheren.

t'Meris> Whis his why I brought it to au. I did na know if it were a test of my loyalty either. I did na activate it Rekkhai...

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::She giggled.::.

M_K_tKsa -> ::brushes off the soil a little bit, wondering what this is all about, sounding slightly distracted:: Na, au did the right thing t'Meris. I believe au. And I will take care of it. Hann'yyo for bringing this to my attention.

Lerak trPexil -> "Are au hungry?"

Lerak trPexil -> :: gets up from his desk and moves toward the replicator ::

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> ::his expression neutral still as he listens::

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> A bit. What are au having?

NDak -> Secondly, if au and tr'Vatrix endanger this ship, it's crew or the Empire with this little game you two are playing well... ::he looked at tr'Valdrin, deadly serious:: I think you know what I am capable of doing.

NDak -> Are we perfectly clear?

Lerak trPexil -> "Hmm, whatever I like... today though.. soup, something spicy."

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Meris> ::nods :: Hann'yyo rekkhai. If I may be excused? I have several more plants to take care of before I return on my next shift

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> Of course, rekkhai. ::slight smile:: Au do know that I would never endanger my own ship. I have the upmost respect for this ship and her crew and do not intend to let anything happen while in command.

Lerak trPexil -> "Spiced Hlai soup."

M_K_tKsa -> Of course, and hann'yyo again. ::nods, making a mental note about t'Meris for the future::

Lerak trPexil -> "Like mother used to replicate."

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> Sounds interesting. I'll try some.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::sets the ISD down heavily on top of the console and sits down, rubbing his temple a bit distractedly as he looks over his writing::

Lerak trPexil -> "Another soup, same kind."

Lerak trPexil -> :: another soup bowl with aromatic spices materialized. Lerak placed it in front of t'Ditsy ::

Lerak trPexil -> :: had some of his own ::

KhreRiovtRex -> tr'Bartol? ::unable to find t'Aehjae, leave the ISD with his request on the corner of her desk with a message asking her to repspond on how to proceed once she has decided the best course of action::

NDak -> ::Coldly:: See to it that it doesn't. H'nah, give me au report on the trials.

M_K_tKsa -> ::still brushing off potting soil, contemplating whether or na she should activate it, as t'Meris said it could be a test of her own loyality, and yet she has this sneaking suspecion it was left on purporse::

NDak -> ::Takes a drink from his mug, deciding it was not worth getting into a spar with tr'Valdrin over the semantics of just whose ship it was, that, for certain, was beneath him.::

Lerak trPexil -> :: the replicator did Hlai gletten pretty well all things considered ::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::looks up to see t'Meris getting dismissed from the Daise's office::

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> I already have several ready for your review. ::smoothly. removes ISD and hands it to him:: Overall, I thought the trails were a success. Weapons systems are far superior to those the Talon had previously. Helm control is excellent. Your engineering

t'Meris> ::notes that Kelton was up and about, and without a guard, perhaps those rumors of his being a defloxo user were not true after all:::

Lerak trPexil -> "What do au think of the gletten?"

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> staff performed adequately given the circumstances. Security was a trifle lax and could use more in the way of drills, but otherwise finished their assigned tasks well. I have already notated the areas that could use the most improvement.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::gives her a casual nod, wondering what her business with tKsa was all about:: Jolan tru.

t'Meris> > Jolan Tru, I see au have returned to duty. I trust that au are ...well?

NDak -> ::Nods:: Mehnka. I have tasked t'Aehjae with a number of improvements to the D'Heno. It is her final chance with me, if she cannot accomplish them and improve the department, then I want her removed as Daise.

t'Meris> ::knows little other than he was kept in a separate area for a while::

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::Takes a sip and ponders the flavors before taking another. Abruptly begins to cough.:: It's... ::cough:: a... ::cough:: bit... too... ::cough cough cough:: spicy... ::cough:: for... me... ::gasp cough::

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::can guess at the undercurrent in the words and responds, almost too casually:: Ie. Quite well. Hann'yyo for asking.

Lerak trPexil -> "Oh...OH!" :: get a water from the replicator :: "Here au go.."

NDak -> ::Waves a hand:: Go ahead and send your reccomendations to the department heads. While I may not personally like or trust au, I do trust in au professional competency. Whatever I may think of au patron, he would not send a moron.

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> Ie, I have reviewed her record and found it most... ::pauses:: interesting. Frankly, I am amazed that she has surived aboard this ship for so long. I understand the two of you have a history.

Lerak trPexil -> "I was just going to ask if I can trust au, but it is au who may na trust me.. with poisoning au."

NDak -> ::Frowns:: I was once her disheren, ie. And also her Daise.

Laehval tTemarr -> t'Ditsy> ::Waving her hands, she grabbed for the water and gulped it down as quickly as possible, gasping for air as she finished.:: Na! It just took me by surprise. It has good flavor, but ::cough:: I think some of the spice went up my nose.

NDak -> She is... ::shakes his head:: complicated in many ways, and simple in others. While I may question her compentency to carry out the position, she is loyal to this ship, and to t'Rexan. And when she's following regulations and doing what she's told, a competent security officer.

Lerak trPexil -> "Au do have a flair for adventure."

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::returns his eyes to his work, determinedly not checking for any reaction, wondering if he will be permanently expecting a wary eye for the rest of his time aboard or if this will pass::

M_K_tKsa -> ::sits down at her desk, staring at the ISD, frowning:: <w>I have a bad feeling about this.

Lerak trPexil -> :: he smiled and laughed ::

Lerak trPexil -> "I have to be on high alert more than I thought now... Laehval would be too if she were in this chair." :: picks up a chirping ISD :: "Ah."

NDak -> I suspect she rather hates me, envy's me perhaps. Though I don't particularly think I am someone anyone should envy. ::Frowns::

t'Meris> ::turns back to trRadaik:: When au shift ends, did au have plans for getting something to eat? I have to finish tending the plants, but I'm getting hungry, and you...well you look hungry and bored.

Koga S'Bien -> ::looking out at the viewscreen, checking the ETA status to Dumok’azen::

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> Au are in command of a warbird. What is na to envy? ::slight look of curiosity:: I will send au my final observations as soon as the secondary trials have been completed and decisions have been made.

Lerak trPexil -> "I have to admit this position has a lot of pressure, but it has a strange way of rewarding as well."

KhreRiovtRex -> <ETA is still 3 weeks, it is only 4 hours later than last week>

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::looks up again, legitimately surprised:: Would I...::faint smile:: Ie, I would like that...

t'Ditsy> ::Contemplated taking another spoonful of soup, but decides against it. She was out of water.:: To be in command is a tough place to be.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> *Did I...

NDak -> ::Lifts a brow:: There is much about my life that is unenvyable.

NDak -> I am in command of a warbird, ie. I come from a powerful family, ie.

M_K_tKsa -> ::takes a deep breath, then turns on the ISD::

NDak -> I have never wanted for anything a day in my life and have had my every whim cared for by an army of servents.

NDak -> I have risen in rank, faster than many others my age and done so largely without using my name or connections.

t'Maris> I"ll stop back at the end of your shift and we can go down to the mess and get something to eat

NDak -> Yet, for all my advantages, I am left with little real choices and am constantly boxed in by others. My destiny, while my own hands, is constrained even now. This may be my command, but I do not kid myself.

Kelton tr'Radaik -> ::smile widening slightly:: Alright. Ie...excellent. I look forward to it.

KhreRiovtRex -> Holodeck: t'Meris> I'll return hrrau a few hours then

Lerak trPexil -> Holodeck: "I'm glad au like it and I did na kill au."

NDak -> Holodeck: ::Motions towards tr'Valdrin:: I know full well that I have this position because tr'Vatrix wishes me to fail. He would not have indulged t'Rexan otherwise. Not only that, but then goes and assigns au to this ship.

Lerak trPexil -> Holodeck: :: eats his gletten and watches t'Ditsy eat hers ::

NDak -> Holodeck: Not only do au curry his favor, but au are from a rival house. What better way to disgracing the House S'N'Dak, hmm?

Kelton tr'Radaik -> Holodeck: ::much needed confidence jolt; after his recent behavior, has na much even wanted to be with himself all that much, though his pride makes him keep his face relatively still about it:: Ie. I will see au then.

Kavek tr'Valdrin -> Holodeck: I think au mistake his intentions. Had he wished au to fail, he would have pulled au from the ship entirely and plunged au into a situation from which there was no other outcome. Au are here by your own merit and because your Enarrain wished au to be.

[NDak] I have my doubts, and until I see otherwise, I will continue to have them. I am an N'Dak, and we have not survived all that we have gone through, all that we've done, by being trusting.

[Kavek tr'Valdrin] Of course au will. It is in our nature.

[sarvek] ::recuperating::which meant, laying there half conscious, but hey, we can all be PC::

t'Ditsy> ::Not eating the soup, but staring at it from time to time.::

[tAehjae] ::making the schedule for teams to begin a extensive dheno training sessions::

[NDak] ::Tips his head:: The way of the D'Era has never been easy. H'nah, let us return to the oira and our duties. They might begin to get suspicious.

[Kavek tr'Valdrin] ::chuckles:: Ie. And think we have killed each other.::which might very well happen, Kavek knew. N'Dak was no fool.::

[Kelton tr'Radaik] ::returns to his work, now quietly debating with himself over what prompted the meal request at this particular time, struggling with the remnants of the paranoia and the returning pride::

[NDak] ::Exits onto the Oira::

[Koga S'Bien] ::vacates the centre seat, seeing NDak and Kavek exit::takes a cursory glance at the chrono::

[NDak] ::Valdrin:: Perpare them for a round of tactical drills.

[sarvek] ::She was dropping in and out between consciousness, sleep, and agonizing wakefulness. What little actual sleep she was getting, however, was being broken up by worry and nerves, and a pervasive sense of dread.::

[NDak] There is a very good chance we could face the the Kling'am fvadt and I do na want them to be unprepared. ::Taking his seat::

[M_K_tKsa] ::locks the ISD into her desk drawer and exits her office once again, heading to the replicator::

[sarvek] ::Sar'vek had na idea how she was going to be able to return to even her normal duty load, much less a more physical job as a disheren and then the side work N'Dak had assigned her to::

[Lerak trPexil] "Oh, did I tell au about aur friend Sar'Vek?"

[Kelton tr'Radaik] ::finishes off the set of reports he is working on::

[KhreRiovtRex] # ::and though she does not review the recorded log, she somewhat feels that some of the pent of anger is leaving her, to the point that she is ready to get on with her so'rdaz with Var'lonL:

[Kavek tr'Valdrin] ::nods and resumes his seat to issue orders::

t'Ditsy> Sar'vek? ::Makes a face.:: Na. What about her?

[KhreRiovtRex] # ::makes way to the scout ship and finding Var'lon already waiting for her, boards it to head down to the planet::

[Lerak trPexil] "Well, we were all assembled for what appeared to be a normal senior staff meeting when t'Rex..."

[M_K_tKsa] <w>It would be inappropriate to have io found drinking on the job, Khera. ::taps in a command into the replicator for some hot spiced tea::

[Kelton tr'Radaik] tKsa> ::as she emerges:: Just in time to avoid the paperwork I was about to send to au office, rekkhai. ::chuckles::

[M_K_tKsa] ::jumps unexpectedly:: Oh tr'Radaik. ::facial expression softens into a smile:: Ah, hann'yyo. ::nods::

[Lerak trPexil] ".. and she started to leave right in the middle of the announcement. We were without words. It was odd, everything going in slow motion..."

[KhreRiovtRex] # ::makes way to the scout ship and finding Var'lon already waiting for her, boards it to head down to the planet::

Lerak trPexil] "Well, we were all assembled for what appeared to be a normal senior staff meeting when t'Rex..."

[Kelton tr'Radaik] ::blinks at this unexpected reaction:: Llein'yyo. Is all alright, rekkhai?
