::Lieutenant (jg) Will Tomlinson put away his flight gear and sat at the computer terminal. He began writing his report and pushed the record button on his personal log at the same time::

 

 

 

Personal log: Will Tomlinson Lieutenant (jg) Fighter pilot U.S.S. Reaent NCC-3345-G

 

 

 

Strange day today. We come out of a wormhole and my wingman disappears right of his cockpit as we’re sitting in our launch tubes. We come out to find a destroyed Federation starship and multiple escape pods under attack by 3 Romulan Warbirds.

 

 

 

Well with the help of Task Forces 8 and 10 we ran right over those Romulans with moderate damage to the Reaent but the really strange part is that when I rescue Tabor, he says that we all went out in a blaze of glory. I think this is going to be a very interesting debriefing. Well like my Dad always said, “The strangest damned things happen out in space.” Anyway, bottom line is that we rescued those people in the escape pods, ran right over the Romulans and came home in one piece. Anything else, doesn’t really matter I think.

::Will pressed the stop recording button and finished writing the preliminary report out for the debriefing making sure to note that Tabor’s wreckage is still out there for salvage if it is prudent to do so.::
