I have never been so relieved! If we hadn’t found the flight squad I would never have forgiven myself. That has to be the darkest hour on board the Reaent for me so far. The thought that we could have lost all a number of the crew sends chills down my spine especially since I would be responsible for their loss. This has been a very trying mission and seeing as my shift is over in an hour I intend to go down to the lounge and have something to drink and than I am going to sleep for a bit!
