  1. Then their is the uber-evil PRT system.

    good times, good times...at least you dont have to walk the 82 steps without a rest in-between. (it was 82, right?)

    i have a kinda similar story with the monorail at Disney... as you can guess, we get stuck. the red monorail lost its air compressor, which they need to keep tire pressure up, brakes, door, A/C, etc. etc, so disney decides to stop all monorail traffic to get it back to maintenance. yippy for us, stuck for 35 minutes! with creepy people sitting across from us, of course! this was....last year, i believe.

    ::refrains from retelling light-rail/bus experience from a few days ago....:: :lol:

    You've made a yellow Lightsaber Yellow is the color of Honor and Loyalty. It symbolizes caution and foreboding in either direction of the blade, Meaning that the owner is relatively cautious...but also to be cautious of them. Since Yellow stands for both Honor and Cowardice, Once should always think twice before attacking someone with a Yellow Saber.

    HAH! I knew i was a coward...

  3. ... and I, Q which was written by Mr. Q himself, whom I cant think of the name...

    ::casts force lightning on himself::

    John DeLancie?

    i was seriously considering getting a Trek book, but that never happened. so i am writing a Trek-ish one for my Language Arts project. how exciting.

    i think i would want to read one of the movies in book form. i think it would be neat to see how a movie is portrayed in written word. Is that totally off topic?

  4. Worst finale episode ever. About 95% of ENT fans do agree that the episode was not good.

    and its really sad that it turned out this way. i think overall, it was a good show. sure, it had its rough moments (TNG: Shades of Gray, for example) but they could've added a bit more to the final episode. i agree with everyone else on this: Archer's speech should've been added.

  5. luckily, i'm on a Mac...and there are what, 6 trojans and 2 security holes? ah, the wonders of spending a little time developing an OS before shoving it out onto the market... (no, i'm not trying to start "the" debate, i do get emails like this all the time from dad. lo and behold, they are false warnings he sends out to me because he got heard it from a message board)

  6. ::gets the torches and pitchforks::

    LETS FIND HOLDEN!!! :lol:

    :P :)

    ::ducks::

    Well, it seems like a few people have really gotten in to this. I just want to let eveyone know that I put the link up here for some semi-educational entertainment...let's not get too violent ::shakes:: :)

    P.S. I have been in Seattle for the past few days, so I would've been more active in the thread, but the only way to get Internet in the room was to pay $15 for a day...yeah, right!

  7. :P Oh my gosh, it's Holden!

    Well folks, I thought I'd add my own semi-useful link to the boards...

    What's Your Ecological Footprint?

    We did that in Social Studies the other day, and the results were disastrous... It basically tells you how many Earths we would need if everyone lived like you. Post your results and see how doomed we are :lol:

    ______________________________

    Your ecological footprint is estimated to be 10.5 hectares (25.9 acres).

    If everyone in the World lived lived like you we would need 5.6 Planets to support global consumption.

    BTW the number of hectares is the amount of space each person would need to survive if they lived like you, to get food, store waste, etc.

  8. Hey there,

    As crazy as it sounds, I find myself more and more (from a computer tech perspective) missing MS-DOS. I mean when it was your base operating system. There, it did exactly what you told it and nothing more. No warnings, no confusing errors, just simple and accurate responses.

    Heck, actually copied the old DOS SHELL program. Comes in handy once in awhile when a PC's hard drive crashes and I could use a nice "Windows Explorer" type interface.

    Mac for me!

    and about the DOS thing: i have an old PC that is pure DOS....i wish i could use it more....

  9. Yeah, and I think that's why they took it away. I guess too many people were spamming the boards, with topics like the Word Associatuin , and the Write Something about you threads. They took the post counts away before, but brought it back a few weeks later, so.. maybe it'll be back. I don't know.. up to the Gms. :lol:

    hmmmm...interesting....
